Satellite ocean exploration of space in China

Jiang Xingwei,Lin Mingsen,Liu Jianqiang

Strategic Study of CAE 2008, Volume 10, Issue 6,   Pages 56-62

Abstract:

This article reviews the developing tendency about the ocean exploration technology on the satellite remote sensing and its effect on the oceanic science. It looks back the developed status on the ocean satellite remote sensing technology, compares the domestic ocean remote sensing technology with overseas status simply and gives their differences. It presents the developing key technology in 2007—2020 years about our country's application technology on satellite ocean remote sensing. The first developing keystone about ocean remote sensing is to launch subsequence HY-1 satellite and HY-2 satellite. The satellite application will be stress on monitoring the ocean disaster such as red tide, overflow oil, water quality and sea ice etc. It is to table a proposal and policy about developing the application technology on the satellite remote sensing in our country.

Frontiers of Medicine 2008, Volume 2, Issue 2,   Pages 143-146 doi: 10.1007/s11684-008-0027-9

Abstract: Twenty-seven patients with severe colon trauma treated in the Shaoxing People’s Hospital from 1995 to 2006 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients with severe tunica muscularis injury were treated by medical glue combined with the greater omentum during operations. The initial result was encouraging. All patients were cured with no anastomotic leakage or abscess. Therefore, reasonable use of medical glue combined with the greater omentum can not only improve the curative rate but also reduces postoperative complications for patients with colon injury.

Research on Development Situation of Ferrous Metal Resources in China

Task Group for the Strategic Research on Great Power of Ferrous Metal Mineral Resources

Strategic Study of CAE 2019, Volume 21, Issue 1,   Pages 97-103 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2019.01.014

Abstract:

As a forerunner of the supply-side structure reform, China’s iron and steel industry actively resolves its overcapacity. More than 1.2×108 t of excessive steel production capacity has been resolved between 2016 and 2017, and 1.4×108 t of illegal production capacity, such as “substandard steel” has been eliminated. As the global iron and steel industry is currently in the excess production capacity cycle, China's steel consumption has developed from a sustained growth phase to a peak value platform area. Meanwhile, both the crude steel consumption intensity per unit GDP and that per unit investment has decreased. It is expected that the consumption demand and output of crude steel in China will reach 6×108-6.5×108 t and 6.5×108-7.0×108 t by 2025, respectively; and these same items will reach 5.3×108-6.0×108 t and 5.9×108-6.5×108 t by 2030, respectively. Meanwhile, the supply of steel scrap resources in China will increase rapidly, and the sufficient steel scrap resources will become a strong support for China’s iron and steel industry. The structure of iron resources will also be greatly changed, and the demand for international iron ore resources will decrease gradually. All the changes are important in promoting ecological civilization construction and green development.

Establishing Profiles for Systems Engineering Standards: A Great Help for Companies to Manage Their Processes

Rui Xue,Claude Baron,Philippe Esteban,Qiang Zhang

Frontiers of Engineering Management 2014, Volume 1, Issue 3,   Pages 297-303 doi: 10.15302/J-FEM-2014036

Abstract: In this paper, we discuss how to establish profiles of system engineering standards for companies. To define an appropriate system engineering standard for a company, this paper presents a detailed comparison between the current releases of the main system engineering sta-ndards (ANSI/ EIA-632, ISO/IEC-15288 and IEEE-1220), and explains how to choose the most adapted one according to the company practices. When no standard completely corresponds, the paper illustrates how to elaborate a tailor-made standard on the basis of specific required characteristics of the company or of the project, following a multi-standard approach, leading to extend and adapt a sta-ndard by importing some elements from another.
